I tried to install and run the software, but I received this error: A valid license could not be obtained for verification

The error received may appear with the following message:

License failure details
-------------------------------

A valid license could not be obtained for verification. Please contact Windale Technologies for assistance.

DETAILS:

No licenses found in

Could not validate (or skipped) Did not continue.

It seems that for some reason, the software did not actually install correctly on your computer.  Please try the following steps:

  1. Quit all apps such as Visual Studio, Excel, Access
  2. Uninstall any earlier versions of the software.
  3. Remove any relevant or appropriate license files, for example:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\XHEO\SharedLicenses\wtnCOMPONENTNAMEf_1.lic

and any others with the component name in the filename.
  4. Install the software again.
  5. When the software installs, deselect any options for installing into Excel or Visual Studio if you do not have those packages installed.
  6. When the software installs, you should see a splash screen appear similar to the one shown here:

If it doesn't install normally,  please let us know the first thing that you see - ie splash screen, or installation screen and which one you see, or otherwise any error messages that occur.
