Can I use Transform/X or Transform/NET to create a FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) based spectrum analyzer ?

Yes, creating a spectrum analyzer using Transform/X or Trasnsform/NET is very simple.

We can provide a simple demo application in VB6, VB.NET or VC# which shows how to construct a simple spectrum analyzer that performs the functions required. Since this task is relatively common, we have included some special spectrogram functions to make it even easier!

Check out how simple to is to create applications using our components:

There are some issues you will need to consider further, but this will show you how easy and quick it is to construct such an application. You will need to consider the sampling frequency - but we have given some notes in the source code that shows how you can choose this for your needs. Also you need to decide on the windowing form to use and the size of the FFT.

Remember - we provide sample applications with full source code, so you can be up and running immediately. Contact us if you have any questions or problems and we will respond promptly.
